How Long Is Field Radio Operator Training Is
My Husband just found out what his MOS Training is and I keep hearing a lot of weeks. I mostly hear that it is 6 weeks long. Is this true? I'm trying to find out so much information on this since I am new to this Military life. If anyone can help me, that would mean a lot to me.
Thank You
Krista

6 weeks seems close as I recall. It may be a little bit longer, but not by much. Hopefully he picks up a class shortly after getting to 29 Palms. I was in MAT (Marines awaiting training) platoon for a month or so before a new class started.

I just got out of communication school.
Theres a huge back up with how many Marines there are and the lack of classes.
My old roommate was in and out in about 2-3 months vs me 6-7 months.
He'll go to receiving which for me was 2 weeks but will probably just be a few days for him, then MAT plt. Marines Awaiting Training. That can take as long as 2 days to 2 months to 5 months..as long as it takes for a class to get open.
His schooling is like..a month ish if he does everything right and doesn't get dropped.
