    Question Guidebook for Marines

A silly question here, Marines: does the Corps still publish/issue the GUIDEBOOK FOR MARINES? I was at Quantico, VA 2 weeks ago and searched through the main PX, 2 sub-PX's and The Marine Shop and could not find a single copy of the GUIDEBOOK. If anyone knows if it still exists and where I can purchase the current iteration, please let me know either publicly here or via PM. Thanks, all!

MCA still publishes it. You can buy it on Amazon too.

You can get a copy for $10 from the Marine Corps association. Look them up as they have an 800 number you can call.

Pretty shameless of me wasn't it PIB

Yes, it's still issued in boot camp. I have mine but plan on getting a new one as mine is pretty beat up from being inside my assault pack's small pouch.

Yeah, I still have my original Guidebook from 1960 but I need to update a bit! I am certain the Guidebook has changed a skosh!

Yea, I'd like to get a new one just to see all the changes. Mine is most likely the same as yours (1959) Weapons include, M1, BAR, Rocket Launcher, etc.

I'm splitting hairs here again but that is a link to the EST manual and not the guidebook for Marines.

I was looking through my old footlocker a couple days ago and found some old demo books and my guidebook for Marines, kind of beat up but it is pretty good for 1954.

I'm still looking for the version where 84 was the centerfold.

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do....

The PX in Mateo still sells this one:

Eighteen revisions and they STILL can't find any Marine mean and ugly enough to replace the models in that book....truly amazing...
