    Question about H&S companies

    I am joining the reserves and will be assigned to the 1st battalion 25th Marines at fort Devens Mass. Because of only two MOS's available to me during me signing up I chose supply. I've recently been told the we will be deployed to Afghanistan in 2010. Just curious how much action a member for H&S comapny would see. I feel if Marines in my unit were being sent into harms way often, I would like to be out and help them out, not just in the rear with gear. Thank you for any input.

    From my experiences mainly in the rear never left the wire except for an occasioanl convoy here and there. That was just my unit though. Every unit is different
