    With my years of experience in the Army, they would have awarded him a Silver star for the same thing, well they might have down graded it to a Bronze Star and the device would have been the "V" for Valor, but....you know what I mean.

    Thank you Jack for your service! To bad they wouldn't let you stay in as Private, you are one of the best of the best! Just couldn't handle garrison, could you? Please know, I'd gladly share a fighting hole with you anytime!

    A commendation!!??? Have you heard of micro-terrain? Dangerous firing positions are for Privates and Pfcs, not Medal winners....
