Do you think any of these Marines could YouTube a bootcamp video in 1953? And I'll bet it was a different ballgame then. Just relax and prepare yourself for whatever comes your way...

Keep in mind you shouldn't call a Gunnery Sgt. Gunny unless you know it's ok with them, ie. you ask them, at least that's what I've been told.

Haha I bet it would, I'm sure if a Gunnery Sgt wanted recruits to refer to them as anything but their title they'd tell us, otherwise its Gunnery Sgt to me. Or rather should it be Ma'am Gunnery Sgt Ma'am? I don't know the protocal for addressing rank, besides in boot camp not to speak unless spoken to, if that's even accurate.

Haven't you looked at our rank structures, Gunny is short for GySgt?
