    LAKEWOOD MARINE MEETS THE PRESIDENT

    President George W. Bush and Marine Lance Cpl. Evelyn Rodriguez.

    Samuel and Beatriz Duron of Long Beach submitted a photo of their daughter Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Evelyn Rodriguez meeting President George W. Bush on Oct. 30 in Quantico, Va. They write: "Evelyn graduated from Lakewood High School in 2006 and joined the Marine Corps soon after and is currently stationed in Quantico. President Bush gave a speech earlier in the day and wanted to stop by and meet the Marines stationed there."
