If he's one of those who likes "poo-poos and tah-tahs," then Quantico is the place for him. If he wants to be a "real" warrior, then Camp Lejeune is the place to be.

For a first term Marine it is not a good idea to go to Quantico. He would be expecting to be in the fleet and that just doesn't exist at Quantico. I have spoken to many a first term Marine at Quantico and they are doing what they can to get out of here.

My youngest will be 21 next week, and he is at Camp Lejeune. He seems to enjoy it so far.
