    earings and lip gloss

    SEMPER FI

The ex-cheerleader (age 19) in the picture below was watching a road that led to a NATO
military base when she observed a man digging by the road. She engaged the target, and she shot him.
Turned out he was a bomb maker for the Taliban and he was burying an IED that was to be detonated when a U.S.
patrol walked by 30 minutes later. It would have certainly killed and wounded several soldiers.

The interesting fact of this story is the shot was measured at 725 yards.
She shot him as he was bent over burying the bomb.
The shot struck him in the butt blowing him into the bomb which detonated.
    He was blown to pieces.

The Marines made a motivational poster of her.

    Her name is Kimmy.

Snopes did a bit on this. Turns out the description is false. Still, I think she'd make a fine Marine if she ever wanted to join our ranks.

I don't care if it was her or not as long as someone greased that little bomb-maker.

As for her, hmm, cute, but I think the Mrs. would be a tad upset if I brought her home to play.

I think I recall that picture in a (few months old) issue of a Mag I read regular. I think she is Air Force, and on her second tour.

I'll have to dig thru some back issues and double check.

I don't think she's a Marine with them diamond earrings in her ears (unless that's changed too). Good for her, whatever branch she's in.

    November 2007 issue of TACTICAL WEAPONS;

Sr. Airman Polly-Jan Bobseine in an observation post,
    U.S. Air base, Kirkuk, Iraq
    SHARPSHOOTER, not called SNIPER

And the ear-rings are pearls, not diamonds.
