    Silent Drill Platoon

    So today my recruiting station and several others from around the state went to a performance by the Silent Drill Platoon. It was awesome, and we even got advice from them as a group afterwards.

    If there is any opportunity for the rest of you poolees to go see them-do it!

    I don't care how far you have to drive, make the trip and see them. It is well worth it.

    I get to check out the 8th and I Drill team, (as I live about 50 mins from DC), although its been several years since I've been into DC to check out the ceremony.

    I saw them on March 1st with The Marine Corps Band at the Rose Bowl. It was amazing.

    I was supposed to see them this weekend as well, but I had to go out of town, I was sad, I had been looking forward to seeing them, then I realized it was the same weekend as my family reunion back home.
