New Marine
my wife and i received the call yesterday from our new Marine! he had finished the crucible on saturday morning and received his EGA . i asked him how he made out on the crucible ,he said they were well prepared and it was no problem.he wanted to talk more about the warriors breakfast than the crucible lol.
i cant describe the feelings ,im just damnproud

PARRIS ISLAND was more than i expected!! i think the moto run over shadowed the graduation but both days were a unreal experience.my Marine has been home for three days, last night i asked him if he was ready to go back.he replied that he was happy to be home and to relax but yes he was ready to leave for SOI.i must admit i like having him around but i was very proud of his answer.
oh by the way bootcamp stories are hilarious

Congratulations to you, your family and most of all your brand new US Marine! My son loved SOI but admitted that it was much harder than Boot Camp, but being a new Marine, he was up for the challenge.
