Reserves MOS Questions...

I've already done a thread search regarding this question but I apologize if this question has come already up in one form or another. Are guaranteed contracts available for all MOSs to Reservists, more specifically in the 03xx field? Are there any 0317 SS Reserve Units, or is this MOS available to active duty Marines only? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Im a reservist and I got guaranteed a 0311 MOS.

0317 is a B billet. So the short answer is no. You can get 0311.

Yes there are Reserve SS units, but think of it this way...

You are talking about utilizing a weapon system that takes a lot of skill, training and practice to utilize to its full potential.

IF you become a Marine, IF you complete SOI......
IF there is a Reserve SS unit near you....
