Quick Question...(Parris Island)

Ok, I'm going to MEPS Next Month To Take The ASVAB and Swear In For The United States Marine Corps (I love saying that),
but
I might be moving to California, which I don't want to go to San Deigo, I want to go to Parris Island, because few of my friends are going to Parris Island, also I want to ,
My Recruiter Said i would have to request to be shipped to Parris Island if i move to California...

is this true?
and if so what form or paper or how do i request it?

Not to be a richard head, but ask you recruiter or ask some one at MEPS.

If you see that (the move) is going to happen, tell your recruiter as soon as possible before you move so he can make the arrangements, if possible!

what exactly is going to happen in MEPS and After MEPS?

You are going to spend a lot of time getting physicals, questions and such. Go to the POOLEE forum. They have been through MEPS and there memory is much fresher than mine.
After MEPS you will be on DEP. What you and your recruiters do during that time is up to them and you. See also POOLEE.

Well if you can stay on the East coast with a friend or relative rather than moving to CALI, just an option. Hopefully everything works out.
