I need some addresses
I am the president of a non profit organization that supports the troops. We are new and have not built up our name/address list yet and I have a man that has 2 packages ready to mail out. Does anyone have an address I can give to this man? I know this is kinda strange request, but, since I have a person wanting to do this, I don't want to discourage him. Please help

I know about OPSEC and I am very careful with the address and information gleaned from any military site.

That may be, but you should still go through official channels. People transmitting personnal information over the web to unknown parties is risky and a clear violation of OPSEC.

That site is in complete violation of OPSEC!
They don't even require background info or check the people they are giving the addresses to. For all they know, they could be handing over our guys/gals locations directly to the enemy....

Try the Public Affairs Officer of each major installation in your area. I bet they could help get things going for you.
And thank you for taking the actions of Patriotism!

I have tried the PAO of my local base and I am having a very hard time getting anyone on that base to answer an email or telephone call.

Simple answer - google it! Don't google for addresses, look for heroes to adopt. There are many organizations out there looking for you.
Marines & Soldiers are signed up and waiting at www.operationac.com
Support wounded heroes at www.ocp247
As a Mom I'm damned protective of my Marine and don't give his address to just anyone asking. There are plenty of legitimate avenues for you to find what you're seeking.
Good Luck

Care Packages
There is an Organization called Operation Interdependence (I belong) You might look it up on the web. From Austin, Texas, we support 35 units deployed, every month with a box of 50 quart sized baggies filled with small items and a personal note. That way every one in the unit gets something. Our Marines and soldiers really have every thing they need over there. This is just a way of saying Thank You and We support you. We send directly to a Commanding Officer. Our boxes are inspected and they get through to the front lines without impacting the military. Really the note is the most important part of the little package.
