Finally.. Shipping on Feb. 11th

So, it's been a long wait to get into the Marines. I originally went to MEPS to enlist on Apr. 10th 2007. I was DQ'd for meds I took(Adderal and Paxil).

On Wed. I finally got an answer from BUMED and I was approved! I went back to MEPS yesterday and was supposed to DEP and ship all in one day. My package didn't get finished in time and I couldn't ship. However, I did get to sign my contract and swear in.

My ship date is for 20080211. I will be shipping to Parris Island. Thank you all for your help with this and good luck to all the other Poolees shipping!

It's a good feeling when all that paperwork finally goes through, huh? Took me about 2-3 months fron start of BUMED process to finish. Now i just need to wait until June to ship.

keep your head up listen to what the Drill Instructors are telling you. a lot of it may seem pretty stupid (and a lot of it is lol) but they are teaching you whether you know it or not. make the best of it, most of us only get to do it once!
