Some here believe their country, and their freedoms can exist together, forever. The rest of us are not that ignorant. Recount the 1st law of thermodynamics, and realize an order to confiscate guns from citizens, is a BIG sign of degredation. Amidst all the small signs, realize, it is not meant to last eternally. I'm with you. Enforce the laws already on the books and the problem of shmutzes having weapons would decrease.
