Cadences also help to keep a steady pace and to help your lungs, something about helping your lung capacity or something like that.

We did the 3 miler at my RS yesterday. We always run in formation with a Guidon and all that jazz. They call cadence most of the time too. I'll tell you, it makes it a hell of a lot easier to not fall out and not ***** during runs when you're in ranks. We also stopped towards the end of the run to do calisthenics, and then did some gnarly incline crunch work after the run. It was pretty damn intense, but I did it.

yea im only in week one of the p90x program and i went from being able to do one pullup to 6 at the end of the week
