Parents have no rights?
Apparently in Colorado you have no say in your kids care.

But he said Shiflett was "rude and confrontational" when the paramedics arrived and entered his home without his permission.
I believe if they had tried to enter my home without permission, being rude and confrontational would be the least of their worries. Getting out alive would have become their priority! Sounds like some EMT with a "wannabe" cop complex! Anywhere I've run or observed rescue the patient and/or parent had the right of refusal!
"Now I'm hunting for lawyers that will take the case … I'm going to sue everybody whose name was on that page right down to the judge," he said.
I hope he collects big time on every one of these bastids, too!

I hope he not only collects big time, but I hope several new names are added to the unemployment file.
I don't care if you're an EMT or a Paramedic, you try to come in my home without permission I Will become confrontational.

Kids are told in school that they don't have to obay there parents. They are told if a parent spanks they they should call the cops. The courts have taken GOD out of our schools; out of the pledge, and want GOD taken off our money. Yet 84% of Americans still belevw in GOD. Something is going to change and when it does I hope that all of us are still around

When I was a cop in Michigan, our local school teachers had a bad habit of telling the kids it was against the law for their parents to spank them. Of course it wasn't against the law, and the child abuse statute specified that parents were allowed to physically discipline their children AND could delegate that authority to a third party.
Parents were lined up in the station lobby with their punk kids to have meetings with the youth officers to find out how they could control the little snots if they couldn't spank them, or otherwise discipline them. How surprised those parents were to find that little Johnny and his teachers had lied.
It got so bad, that I (as the detective bureau commander) had to go see the school superintendent and the teacher's union rep and tell them to cease and desist advising children falsely. The super was OK, but the union rep was a liberal azzhole about it.
So, I unofficially spoke with a couple of elected school board members about the problem and I think they made a few inquiries of their own with the board's legal counsel. The BS advice at the schools seemed to stop quite quickly after that.

ABUSE OF AUTHORITY BY A MAGISTRATE AND POLICE BRUTALITY AT ITS FINEST!!!!! Was it really necessary for them to call out the SWAT Team?

No, it was not neccessary, nor was it warranted, in my opinion.
Sounds like the typical nanny state socialism, with a dash of black suited ninja nonsense thrown in.
THIS is what you get when you allow teachers unions, liberal socialist do gooders and goon squad cops to all get together at the same time.
Let's hope there is a nice big fat lawsuit coming down, with the greediest trial lawyer he can find, to take it.
Hmmm....wonder if John Edwards will be available.........?

Nah, Edwards would probably lend his time to defend these socialists, right down his alley.

Things like this is what happens when a bunch of Tree Hugging Liberals call the shots and believe me it's going to get worse if we stand by and allow a Muslim to be elected to The Presidency. Won't say The Pledge of Allegiance, Won't place his hand over his Heart or stand at Attention during The Star Bangled Banner. It's a No Brainer to me...

That's all we need is a monkey-looking, tree-hugging, PC, lack of respect for our flag, *******, for President!!!!! WTF is this World coming to!!!!!!!!! THEN we have "shed a tear hilda****" with her flip-flopping attitude and her monkey-looking husband (always playing with himself) invading the White House. What a ****ing trip!!!!!!!! There goes the good, ole U. S. of A.

i'm am a paramedic and unless Colorado law is way differant than Michigan, those paramedics broke the law. parents have final say in the medical treatment their kids receive. unless there is a case of proven abuse. still pretty poor assesment skills when you can call a bump on the head a bump on the head.
