Oldest Living Female Marines
Today at my local WMA meeting I had the pleasure of meeting Arizona's oldest living female Marine, Miriam Cohen. She turns 100 on December 13th. She was one of the first Female Marines and it was an honor to meet such a historical person from Marine history. There is a brief mention of her on this forum.. that is how I found my way here: http://www.leatherneck.com/forums/ar...p/t-36971.html
I wonder how many more women there are like Miriam... I know of Charlotte Winters, without whom we may have never had Female Marines, but sadly she passed away in March. Does anyone else know any elderly Women Marines?

Cricket - My favorite 'youngest' WM is Arlene Horton.
We kinda regularly do the email trick and she has a winderful and great sense of humor.
It's been a while. Sure hope she is OK.
