Another has gone home
James J Little Platoon Sergeant of Echo Company 2nd Platoon 1965-1966.
Passed peacefully on Sunday July 15,2007.
Born December 18,1935 the youngest of 13 children.
Sgt. Little was awarded the silver star during Operation Harvest Moon. After losing their Platoon Commander,Sgt Little led his Platoon throughout the Spring of 1966 in the Dong Ha area of I Corps. Sgt Little was severly wounded during operations near the Rock Pile and transfered state side.
The Marines of Echo Company 2nd Platoon will miss their leader. May he rest in Peace.
