Yeah, I've seen that. But I don't really care. Boot Camps there to teach you how to survive, and by changing it to fit todays battle conditions, they are. To me, a certain phrase comes to mind: "Come Whatever May". If the Corps is teaching it to you, there's a damn good reason.

"I've never seen a platoon of women Marines fall out, but I see it all the time out here."
That made my dad.

Im a bit of a perfectionist, all marksmen are.
I cant explain it. I'll never be THE best in physical fitness, so this is one way I can prove myself. And superior marksmanship seperates Marines from other service members.

But yeah I understand what you're talking about.

Nice vid. And When I said I don't care, that wasn't aimed towards you. That was my personal view on all the changes.

I have one question. Who is that recruit telling that other recruit to "Get up" at 1:44? Because he was yelling at that recruit along with the Drill Instructors.

My guess would be a squad leader. I want it.

yea either the guide or the squad leader btw that wasnt the crucible guys because they said they only did a 8 mile hump thats the last hump you do one every week during field week. The crucible you do hump but its mor eof a the platoon is on its own and each squad is broken up to 1 DI who supervises etc.

Lionheart...
that's called a glow strap. While in bootcamp you wear them whenever it's dark or near dark. Actually, while in the Marine Corps period you wear them whenever it's dark or near dark. I was forced to buy one yesterday evening because I took too long in the PX and it was dark by the time I was done shopping.

That was freakin great!!!!!!! The 13:00 mark was the best! Brings back alot of memories. My legs started twitching watching those guys humping. I guess the grunt in me will never die.
