    MRAP as MOS...

    Does any Marines on here know when exactly the MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) Vehicle will be an MOS that you can choose? I know they are finishing the last bit of testing for them now, but I don't know when they will be an MOS like MRAP Crewman/Operator. So if you know anything about it please let me know. I am very interested in them.

    Well I heard that by the time I graduate, There should be about 5,000 made for field use.

    My guess is there won't be a special MOS for this. Operators will be trained and licensed from all MOS' just like Hummers.

    That is what I would think. It depends how it is used over there, but I highly doubt it would be a special MOS.
