Mother's Day, May 13, 2007

This morning I received an e-mail from my son, wishing me a Happy Mother's Day, and saying that he'd try to call me some time today, if at all possible. I understand that there is going to be many sons and daughters that will be trying to call home to their Mom's, and these may be many sons and daughters that don't have as much availability to communications as my son does. Will I miss hearing his voice, if he can't make that call? Of course I will, but to those Mom's that would have the opportunity to hear their child's voice for the first time in a long time, it's a Mother's Day present that does my heart good to share with those Mom's.
