How many anti-war folks are here
I know no one really wants war but, seeing as how it is going to happen do you support the troops? Do you want the USA to win? I am asking this because of my experiance on another forum. It is a Marine forum, most of you know the one, that has some very anti-war tpyes on it. A few are to the point that they won't even answer who they want to win if or, when we do engage battle. I can't hardly take it any more. I hope I can find a better situation here. If not I'll have to stop coming to Marine sites for a while. My heart can't take any more of this unbelievable
lack of respect for the USA.

Anti-war types are normally against any war regardless of cause. Most that I've seen lack any real moral character.
Take Martin Sheen for example. Protests every war coming down the pike, but doesn't have the time to make sure his kids aren't drug addicts and knocks up his housekeeper. Or we could go on about Clinton......

WELCOME ABOARD
Welcome Aboard to the Best Marine Site on the net. Also welcome to your home away from home................
We have a great crew of Marines in here from WW II to the present............
Throw your sea bag in a corner, pull up a footlocker, sit and chat awhile.........Get a chance stop over at the Slope Chute, Gary and I will buy you a few drinks........But watch out for Chesty.......likes his beer, only dog I found could open a beer can........LOL
Most of the Marines here support our Troops and are backing President Bush. All can express their opinions but we do not tolerate the bashing of Members. Anti-war protesters over here get a good wake-up call.................LOL
"AGAIN WELCOME ABOARD."

Ayup. Good to see ya Big K!
Do a site search under Iraq, or peace protesters and you'll get an idea of what's been goin' here fer the last month or two.
We got a couple anti-war types runnin' around, but they ain't dominatin' the board.
When they start makin' sense and stop obfuscatin' the issues, when they don't down right avoid them, I might start listenin' to more of them.
Like Drifter says, we try to keep the personal attacks off the board if at all possible, so relax, grab a beer and enjoy.
Yer home, Marine.

P.S.
Havin' an opinion is one thing, free speech and all that, but sedition and treason are another.
Most of the peace protesters have crossed the line into sedition and treason in my opinion.

I have one opinion:
I will, having taken the oath to support and defend the Constitution of this Nation ONCE, and, knowing it has no expiration date - therefore I WILL:
Escort all those who cross the line as requested.

Anti-War and the American Soldier
The greatest injustice ever committed against the American Fighting men, occurred during the Vietnam War.
It was not the enemy's bullets that after all these years has left a profound image in my mind
It wasn't even the demonstrators and protestors that met me at home
It was the silence of America.
Americans the majority of which didn’t say a thing while protestors greeted us home.
Americans that remained silent, that hurt the most, because they were the majority.

My own husband is deployed right now in case of a possible war with Iraq. Even though I know that I might lose the love of my life if there is a war, I am still pro-war all of the way. Even before I met my husband I had respect for the brave and wonderful troops that represent the USA. I am proud to be an American and proud of my husband and the others that defend our country. Because of my emotional involvement, I am always watching the news and reading the newspapers and I know much about why we should go to war. I think that the anti-war protesters should pick up a newspaper and look at the facts. Saddam needs to be stopped. And more Americans need to support or troops. So yes, SgtBigK, you have come to the right place, because everyone here is awesome and full of patriotism.

Support The Commander In Chief
Been a while since I've visited the site. Received this in an email and thought I'd share with my fellow Devil Dogs. It's a petition showing our support for our Commander In Chief. With all the anti-war crap you see on t.v. and print, I think it'll also show our support to our troops. Just my opinion. http://www.grassfire.net/26/petition.asp?PID=3760715
