    Troubles Troubles

    Has anyone known or knew someone that has gotton there criminal records pardoned or expunged so they can join the Marine Corps?

    It can happen, but the Marine Corps has no influence over that. You need to contact an attorney and tell him what you're trying to do.

    I know the Marine Corps has no influence in that I was just wondering cause I really want this. My recruiter Ive been talking to said he seen it happen, so yeah I was just wondering.

    I know for a fact that it happened during the Nam war. The court would even give some guys the choice, the military or jail. I don't know if they still do it, in any way, now or not!

    Like E4b said-----ask an attorney or the court.

    In all honesty, it depends on the crimes you have been convicted of, how long ago they happened, if you have completed your sentence, and the mood of a judge for an expungement or the governor for a pardon.
