You may have heard about the upcoming Anti-war rally/protest that will occur on Saturday, March 17, 2007 in D.C.

From what I've been able to gather, there exists the real possibility that these bastards are planning on defacing the Vietnam War Memorial ("The Wall") and other Veterans Memorials.

It is my belief that Patriots (silent majority?) need to counter this attempt by moving to the forefront and confront any such effort, peacefully I hope.

Therefore, I'm proposing an effort to do just that. I don't know of any other effort along these lines that may be in the works so if you know of any, please advise me?

If you are serious about being an active participant in this counter-insurgency at home, let me know via email with "Operation Yorktown: Count Me In" in the subject line please.

Time is short to organize this properly. I envision the following to be done as quickly as possible;

1. Establish a "Command & Control" center
2. Identify and organize "Quick Reaction Platoons" as well as the Platoon Leaders (might need this to move quickly from one memorial to another as events unfold)
3. Establish communications methodologies and equipments (such as FRS hand helds)
4. Identify an encampment area for a 2-3 day duration
5. Logistics: This is a big one. We will need close coordination and quick work on this one.

I am willing to use our website as a central "information" medium although we don't want to "tip our hand" to the "enemy".

It's past the time for true Patriots to get involved beyond mere words typed on a keyboard. I'm ready to act but one man, alone, won't have any impact.
