    Obama's cool, but too junior.

I'd vote for McCain, but only if he were a Democrat. I feel the same about for Colin Powell.

The Republicans have had their chance, and done more damage to this country than the Civil War. Now it's global.

Please be specific. I do not have all the answers, but only what I've taken in over the past 14 years. What do you have?

Do you want the gov't telling you that you can't raise your children with your values? If that B***h wins the White House, you may be sure that she will do whatever she can to undermine the rights of parents to raise their children.
My understanding of "It Takes A Village, (Didn't read it, but will put it on my list)" is that it takes a caring community, concerned about all of its citizens, to watch out for, protect, and provide for common "good citizen" values. It was that we all have a stake in the health of our citizenry, and in turn our community, that requires attention and resources to maximize the quality of our country.

I may be wrong, but until I read the book for myself, I only know all that Hillary Clinton has represented in her behavior since she and her husband hit the White House.

Sounds like you got a dressed up version of a summary in order to make the notion of handing over your rights to the gov't more palletable.

This country has never been this far down the commode. The deficit has never been this large, nor has it ever gotten as big as it has in as short a period of time has it has.

The "same ol' stuff" of the Democrats to which you refer, kept us out of harm's way, and cared for the health and welfare of this country moreso than the Republicans could ever think of doing.

In terms of repackaging herself, I think she may be trying to communicate more effectively, and present the same ideas and values she has always had, but in such a way so people can understand them. It is a better way. It is not selfish. It is for the majority and not the minority. It does confront the warmongers, and those who look at the world through distorted eyeglasses.

Hillary is strong, a good person, with a good heart, intelligent, and has sacraficed a lot for this country, certainly more than the current Republican leadership has.

Though she may not be perfect, she is, in my opinion, the strongest in character, and has had most of any imperfections she has hammered out of her through the furnace of politics, and the hammerblows on the anvil of public scrutiny. She hasn't cracked, and has kept a clear and sane vision of America, and based on the values upon which this country was founded.

    The Right has given us:
    1. A degraded Environment
    2. A world who hates us like it has never do so before. We have lost the hard fought moral high ground won by the deaths of sacrafice of so many who have come before.
    3. A war with 1/4 of the population of the globe that will last for centuries.
    4. A three (3) trillion dollar tax break for the top 3% of the country.
    5. A trashing of our Bill of Rights.
    6. A thumbing of the nose at the other two (2) branches of government (Judiciary and Congress).
    7. 3,000 dead soldiers to date.
    8. Korea on the verge of a s**tstorm.

At this point, the Democrats are looking like the Messiah. NO ONE could do a worse job than what the Republicans have done to us. NO ONE. The Democrats are the beginning of the beginning of our way back out of (and even so, it may be too late) of a path the leads us hell-bent towards Armageddon.

If you think that, then you'll believe I have some ocean front property in Colorado I'd like to sell you. Hilary is nothing but a self-serving opportunist.

Oh, and she definitely swings to the far left!!!

    SEMPER FI,
For all his human imperfections, I'd swap Bill Clinton's antics for the crimes of the Republican leadership over the past 6+ years. I was never polite to discuss people's personal behavior in the press until the Republicans shut down the work of the Congress and spent tens of millions of dollars over love stains on a dress. Disgusting.

Hillary is integrating into the process of setting the stage for a run for the presidency. She does not "push the river" for "it flows by itself." The government is not one person. The world cannot be run by one man or one country. Otherwise, we'd be the Wild West, with Yosemite Sam shootin' everyone.

    Give her time. Be patient.

I agree. Obama shows great promise as a sound leader for our country. I'd like to think that Hillary has the brainpower and experience to know the political ropes in DC (hurt Jimmy Carter), and the global perspective to effect, guide, and support decisions that are good for the most in the long run.

Obama's got a future. Just needs to earn his stripes.

While I am a registered Republican, I prefer to call myself a Patriot and an American. For a few years now I have become disillusioned with my party of choice, but the Democraps don't look any better. Simply put they are only an alternative that TOO MANY people are willing to settle for. And they certainly aren't the Messiah.
