    Mos?

    Hi! I am the mother of a new Marine, his MOS is 0481 Landing Support Specialist. We thought it was going to be 0411 Maint Mgmt Specialist, but that changed this week. Can anyone give me any insight as to what he may have the opportunity to do? What bases or locations he would likely go as a PFC? He is interested in Aviation and hopes to get attached to an airbase, is this likely? Thank you all for serving.

    Ma'am I don't know a thing about the MOS but he could pretty much go ANYWHERE and it could possibly be another branch's base - you never know until you get that piece of paper marked "Original Orders".
