I just wanted to say Thank You to everyone who posted. You guys have really helped me get all the information I need. I'm sure I'll be able to find a yearbook and even a platoon photo now that I have all the paperwork and some phone numbers. I'd especially like to thank CapMarine since you did some extra work to help me out. So thanks again! You guys are great!

This may be a bit unothodoxed, but now that you know his graduation date, you could try Ebay. I'm not really an Ebayer, but I think there's a way you can request certain items as well.
Also, I used to work for Ancestrydotcom and we gathered lots of yearbooks from Ebay and other sources for scanning and displaying on the website, so that might be another option, you should be able to search for specific information, and it will show you if they have anything, currently I know they have Marine Corps Muster rolls from the turn of the century, I don't think they go all the way to Vietnam, but they might by now. If they do have something you want to see, you'll probably have to pay to see it.
Hope this helps!
