Hey cadetat6, good post, interesting thingys.

Question - did you do a snopes.com on all of this stuff or is it a copy and paste from somewhere in places unknown?

Lots of stuff becomes believable, after only a short time in cyber space, and some of it can come back to bite you in the arse.

...reverse of the five-dollar bill depicts the Lincoln Memorial. You may be aware that, engraved on that Memorial are the names of the 48 states...

When our Canadian currency dropped, the $1 bill was replaced by a coin with a loon on the reverse of Her Majesty. Hence Loonie.

Then came the replacement of the $2 bill, with a polar bear on the reverse. It was rushed to production so fast, that the first set had the problem of the middle popping out!

Two dollars, following our Canuck logic, became twoonie. The only real advantage is that you can get a hair cut and a decent lunch on pocket change.

Holy Moly! This one looks authentic. The flag sure does not look like the Red Maple Leaf on White with 2 Red Bars!
