    The slogan "It's hard to be humble if you're a U.S. Marine" was seen in a Leatherneck article on a tank unit. The San Francisco area recruiters had bumper stickers made with the slogan and CMC liked it and had quality stickers made for the entire Recruiting Service. (30 years later, I STILL have a few and had one on every car and RV I owned.)

    Some years later, after the first coup by the San Francisco recruiters, they came up with another slogan, had it on t-shirts and sweat shirts and wore it proudly when an inspection team came to 12th District HQ. It didn't go over so well and they were ordered to discontinue it. "If you ain't a Marine, you ain't SH*T."

    saying

    i am looking for shirt that i say someone with a little while ago but i cant find it anywhere... can someone help.. i dont know the whole saying but it starts of with " we stole the anchor from the navy" and then it goes on.. someone help please!!
