I had an idea, every so often someone comes on the boards and asks what everyones ship date is. Well from now on all new poolees post it here, and when all you other poolees read this post it also. That way no one has to make up new threads for it. Everyones can just be seen here. (Mods can you please make this a sticky if you agree)

Umm...yeah, every Drill Instructor in my company. It's not like it was hard to find out...it's in your SRB. I guess my DI's told all the other DI's and made a game of it. Happened to everyone on their birthday. Hell, DI's I had never seen before were showing up and calling me up to the quarterdeck!

My ship date as it stands is Aug. 16th but im moving it up to June 21st so i can do the buddy system with my friend ( if things go as planned). Its going to be real hot!

And I would agree that spending your birthday in boot would be bad... I thought I had it bad when I EASed from active duty in the field with a reserve unit.

June 1 is my ship date. My birthday is June 30. Happy 18th birthday to me, lol. 25 days and counting down.

My ship date was suppose to be 24 may, but i had to have surgery on my leg last september and it isnt completely healed yet so my recruiters and the MEPS dr. are making me wait 6 months, im not too happy about it at all. i was ready to go but its good that i wait that way my leg is completely healed and i dont break it or **** it up at boot camp.
