The Boy Scouts will ensure that condoms will be made 'readily and easily accessible' at its global gathering this summer, it has been revealed.
Rules now require that the host organization of the World Scout Jamboree provide condoms at a 'number of locations' for staff and participants during the event.
Leaders of the participating organizations must also communicate the policy to their 'participants, unit leaders, and contingent staff', the mandate requires.
The 24th World Scout Jamboree will be held in the mountains of West Virginia from July 21 to August 1, 2019.

I'm sad to see this happen. I was a Cub Scout when I was a kid and I became an adult leader when my son went into Cubs too.
Boy Scouts of America developed the Venturing program over 15 years ago to be co-ed. It was a separate group from the Boy Scouts themselves, but came under the BSA umbrella. Adult females could become adult leaders in Cub Scouts many years ago as Den Mothers. Many became adult leaders in Boy Scouts when that was allowed.
My #2 daughter joined Venturing the minute she was eligible (14 years old). She is now an adult leader in Venturing. She didn't care if she was a "Boy Scout." She just wanted to be eligible to join the Order of the Arrow. But for youth, only male Boy Scouts could be selected to OA. Adult leaders, regardless of gender, could be adult OA members. Many women are. Being in the OA is kind of a big thing in Scouting as you have to be voted in by your troop. Venturing Scouts were not eligible as they were not "Boy Scouts." She's all excited now as the BSA just announced female youth could be OA members beginning next year.
Anyway, BSA has surrendered entirely to the left. BSA fought allowing homosexuals into the organization all the way to the Supreme Court and won, nearly bankrupting the ACLU in the process. All a wasted effort now.
I won't have anything to do with Scouting now.
