Just looked over the Marine Corps Area. these book are on there in case anybody wants to know.


1968 PI PLT 253
1967 PI PLT 149
1977 PI PLT 2042
Early 50"s 501, 505, 509 4th Battalion.


I check from time to time to see whats there. Did not see a single sword today. but last time there were lots but none that were old and had special engraving. As one member of our group is looking for.

I will try to post this once a week. But it takes about an hour to go thru the list. If everybody did the same style of entry I could just do a search. The way they list them now I only catch about half wjhat is there.

I have been hunting my platoon book from 97 for several years now. I have done tons of foot work with no results. I am hunting book from USMCRD Parris Island for platoon 1018. Was assigned to 1st Batallion Alpha Company for Recruit training under the guidance and leadership of Senior drill instructor SSgt Dunn. Was at P. I. From 16Dec96-23Mar97. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated!!
