Will this show up on the MEPS Background Check?
So I am in the process of enlisting in the Marine Corps and I am completely ready and qualified except for one concern of mine. When I was 16 I was interviewed about a possible infraction by two police officers. I was falsely accused and about a month after the interview I received a letter from the probation office saying the District Attorney declined to file the petition and that this doesn't go on my arrest record (I was never arrested or fingerprinted in the first place).
I never did anything wrong, was never arrested, fingerprinted, or appeared in court. I don't even think I was formally charged with anything in the first place.
I told my recruiter about it and he said It shouldn't be a problem at MEPS. He also said that he will tell his leadership about it so in the unlikely event it does show up in the background check they will know about it.
So basically my main question is do you think this will interfere with the process at all and did you experience anything like this during your enlistment? All answers and insight are greatly appreciated and welcome. Thank you!

No, this should not affect you at all. You weren't arrested, charged, or anything. It's a simple police contact, much like a traffic stop where you got a verbal warning.

Phew, Thank you for your response! I'm a little less than a month away from going to MEPS and I've been worrying about this for awhile now.
