Carry into battle? At my age? something like this I guess-my eyes aren't as good as they used to be. Kinda hard to miss with a nuke. Does wonders on the enemy's morale too.

    Exclamation

Being a former 0331 I'd have to go with Sparrowhawk and chose a M60E3 and not the Delta model or a M-249 Squad Automatic Weapon, but for close combat I'll stick with my trusty K-Bar D2 Extreme, piano wire and some grenades!:rambo:

The M40A1 of course, at close quarters a sawed off shotgun with the good old double ought will do. Remember never bring a knife to a gun fight.

It was before my time, but I'll carry the BAR & an M1911 .45.

I'll go with the time tested M-14 and a the time trusted M1911A1 45 cal, the good ole M-16 I had on my 2nd tour in Nam worked, but people in my sq. and others jammed. I never wanted to have that thought will it fire or will it not. Remember "this is my rifle" etc. the M-16 will never be part of the my rifle (it's a jammer). charlie222.

Okay I'll be the one with that big honking 40mm automatic grenade launcher to cover you guys. (If one of these young kids shows me how to fire it.)

... no problem, yellowwing; the MK 19 Mod 3 40mm machinegun was/is the main weapon on AAVP7s (Amtracs)...the Browning M2 HB cal. 50 makes a nice "coax"...
