Hahahahaha. I'm reading some of the posts here and I'll tell you what, some things don't change LOL
Good Afternoon Brothers and Sisters, Family & Friends.
It's so good to be back as your Forum Administrator of our Leatherneck Family here.
I've missed you all and although I was here on a limited basis and kept in touch with many via phone and pm it's full swing ahead now once again.
A huge thank you to Gary W for everything he has done for me, the forum and the United States Marine Corps !!!.
It's great when an owner and myself share a vision of how the forum should be run, it's features and it's future for the benefit of it's members because without you we would not be here.
As always your input is what makes us a " Community " and I welcome your suggestions as we go forward together.
Lastly I would like to thank the few remaining Squad Leaders and techs ( That's you Tom ), and of course our Chief Operating Officer Gary W, that kept boots on the ground to keep the forum running as best it could.
Exciting times ahead for leatherneck.com and it starts today !!!
Ok, I don't want to get all teary eyed so I'll stop here. ( I know we lost some members but forever they remain in our hearts and minds )........
BTW, I noticed some Jackwagon deleted most of my world famous threads, they will be re-created !!! Good stuff, fun times !!! I will leave it at that for now......
If you need me, you know where to find me

Rocky is back 2 days and the site is already improved, with new threads, and someone to actually do something about problems, someone to listen to complaints, fix things, work on things. Needless to say, before Monday, we couldn't even find any admin folks to change a poolee's status to Marine six months after he finished boot camp.

There were people on this site who went to boot camp, graduated, went to their MOS school, then duty stations, made Staff Sergeant and were still listed as "Poolee" or "Marine Friend". Someone else was promoted to Sergeant Major and still had the designation "poolee" same as the day he joined this site.

(The two squad leaders who kept this place going in Rocky's absence were FoxtrotOscar and Zulu 36. Rocky thanked them on another thread, but they deserve a thank you from the entire site membership.)

Gary; what ever happened to Bobby Hamilton Jr.?
-

Bobby Jr, his wife Stephanie and daughter Haley still live outside of Nashville and Bobby Jr. is racing again. He had been out of the sport for a while, not because he wanted to but because sponsorship is very hard to find these days and established teams wanted younger or better drivers. I think he is running in ARCA now. I keep up with them on FB.
Thanks for asking!
