Dress Blues, Grooming Standards
I know that to wear the Dress Blues as I am a Honorably discharged Marine, I need to be in accordance with the "Grooming Standards." However, since boot camp, and even in boot camp, I never truly ever was within height weight standards. I am getting married and want to wear my Dress Blues. With all this being said, is it ok, or no, if I am not 100% in accordance with the "Grooming Standards."
Thanks T.

Like I said before even when I was in I wasn't in accordance with the Grooming Standards. So why couldn't I wear them now vs when I was in? Idk. I'm just confused....my blues are just about ready though....

Sounds like you've already made your mind up and will wear them regardless. Just like when you were on active duty. So, nothing's really changed. If you do get questioned by a Marine - at least you'll know why.
