    Advice/ tips?

    Good evening Marines!

    i just want some advice and tips, stuff to do being deployed to okinawa in the air wing? Thank you gents!

    P.S i dont smoke, drink or do drugs.

    climb mountains or go snorkeling...everything else consist of booze and woman...and I would hope you are not doing drugs being that you are in the Marines...

    You are also not deployed there you are stationed there. You may rate the sea service ribbon there but it isnt a deployment. Also you maynot drink now but by the time you rotate back to the states you will probably be a functioning alcoholic, everyone i know who rotates from oki to the states is.

    Let Me know how Kinville is doing, it's outside the gate at Camp Hansen??? use the USO bus tour at first, if they still have them. Just go with an opened mind and keep Yourself busy and time will fly by.

    Great scuba diving around Okinawa - if you are not certified, you might want to look into that.

    yellow snow in korea? what is this about? I have been here for 5 months and have not heard this once haha.

    hardisk, I saw yellow snow outside our tent after Liberty, since We were so far from the Wooden Heads We had. haha
