Alright so my paperwork has been sent up and i jumped onto tfrs to find out the open boat spaces. I am a 5974 and my own MOS is closed. I guess the questions I have now is as an obligor (obligated reservist as per MCO 1080.40) can I switch my MOS at all? also when we get the paperwork approved, how would we request a boatspace from the Marine Corps. would the Liason at MEPCOM be in charge of that or should there be a request sent through TFRS by a career retention specialist for said space??
