Art Meiser, 2nd Marine Division, I Co, Garapan Saipan June 1944

My Uncle was kia on Saipan in '44.
I have letter to my grandmother dated 1947. It describes the circumstances of my uncles death among other things. It was written by a member of my uncles squad.
The signature looks like it says Art Meiser. No rank or address
I'm trying to find information on Art Meiser.
