    Looking for birth grandmother

Birth grandmother Mary Jane Roberson in 1959. Her husband was B. L. Roberson in which she had 6 children. She lived in Midway Island according to telephone directory 1958-1959 for Prince William County.

She also owned Roberson Grocery & Filling Station in Jan 1954. Apparently, they divorced and he was paying child support in 1954. He then remarried in 1956.

By 1958 - 1959, Mary worked at the Officer's Club as a waitress.

The father is listed as unknown but may be my grandfather PJ (Phillip) Getsie. He owned Fort Belvoir Cab Company around this time (he was retired USMC). He and my grandmother Dorothy Edna Getsie adopted my mother and lived in Triangle.

If you know any of these people please let me know. My mother has rec'd permission for her adoption record to be opened but they have to contact next of kin to let them know they a releasing information. There is a letter in there from her birth mother. Thank you!

Note: Midway Island is under restriction by our Govt. just Google and read why. Otherwise, do a six month membership at ancestry to help you find what you're looking for.
