Question and need advice
I was recently in the DEP, although before my ship date my parents decided I should join a better branch and prefer for me to join the Air National Guard. So my mom went inside the office and told them to discharge me... weeks later my recruiter message me about getting discharge but told me I could always come back. Will this discharge affect the chances of me joining the Air National Guard?

Studley.....
You seem to think we know something about "
AirNationalGuard"
Under NORMAL conditions, . Most of us in here would respond for you to go ask your Recruiter....
But ,
having just read your lead-up, and question...
I'd now reply ...
Your best advise is most likely,
go ask your "Mommy"..

PARDON me 249- for answering your question
the way i did first..
Perhaps, IF you are content with your parents making
decisions for you. You aren't ready to be TRYING to
enlist in the MarineCorps, OR to be a Marine....
Your parents know you better than we know you.
And apparently better than you know yourself...
Keep going untill it's time to stop...

Doesn't matter - you are going to do what your mommy wants you to do anyway. If the ANG does not work out she'll have another plan for you. Just wait for her instructions. One day, you may grow up.
