NATO Subsequent Awards
I have read through the SecNavinst 1650.1H & MCO P1020.34G and they both say that bronze stars are worn to indicate subsequent awards on the NATO medal, but I have always been told that you don't wear stars on the NATO. I know this can't be completely true as I have seen a few Senior Enlisted Marines with stars on theirs. I am trying to clarify if I rate a star on mine before I get my promotion photo done because I rate a NATO for Afghanistan (ISAF) and Africa (OUP).
Thanks in advance!
