My son is getting 2 nose bleeds a day in boot camp please tell me....

My son left for boot camp 2 weeks ago on Sept 16, we just got his first letter and he says he is getting 2 nose bleeds everyday.

His dad told him before he left NOT to go to medical unless he was dying because he himself was delayed 2 months in boot camp after going to medical.

He is asking us what could be causing this and I dont know what to do.

Any advise would be so helpful!

Sorry, we are not Doctors here.
2 nose bleeds a day is hard not to miss in Boot Camp.
Leave it up too the Doc's.
If there is a problem it will be taken care of ASAP.

Nose bleeds can be an indication of something serious going on (like high blood pressure). Since it is happening so frequently it should not be ignored (you wouldn't want him to stroke out). His health is more important than possibly being set back in training. Tell him to go to sick call and have it checked out ASAP. Let us know what they tell him and good luck.

I just wanted to add, please don't worry and I know it is hard not to but he is in Great hands and they will watch over his health concerns.
