I remember the other DI's being absolute pit bulls. If there was any other brothers in that Platoon that remembers the DI's names let me know. All I have is a faded picture.

    Only remember Sgt. Smith
    and Cpl. Paddy (Bad ass)

In August, we went to Camp Mathews to qual with
the M-14. Our Platoon did the worst on the range
on Qual Day, so we had to come back to Camp Mathews two
weeks later for mess duty. Camp Mathews closed that week.

And yes, I was a housemouse, and did Smedley duty for mess week.

    Ever forward,
    Sempidr

Wow Staff! That was sum Gung-Ho times back then & it seem like that it was just pure Hell too! But to your own admission, it saved your ass. Thank you for paveing the way for me, & for all Marines to be. Semper-Fi Always Lock-N-Load....Semper-Fi Always.
