    One vote....

    One location!!

A member who is planning to attend the reunion should be allowed to vote for only one location. I see LL and Sparrow are trying to stuff the ballot box!! LOL

    My 3 cents

Just to throw a wrench in everything, I vote for Hawaii, Montreal or Tijuana

    If San Diego and Vegas....

can be grouped together and they are an hour apart by plane. I think the other category should be Quantico/D.C.

Additionally, a vote for "whatever" does not mean San Diego or Vegas. Let's at least try to give the appearance of fairness.

    Let the voting continue!!!

Sounds good Sixguns. Good point because then all we
have to do is decide which area. I guess we could just
call it east or west coast and then decide on the actual
    location. How's that?

    San Diego or Vegas:

    Arrow LL, sounds good, but....

Members who did not list a preference cannot be counted toward one location or the other. Those who are strap hangers along for whatever ride we chose must be listed separately.

    Cool Best Place for Reunion

PHILADELPHIA HAS MORE TO OFFER THAN THE WHOLE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. BIRTH PLACE OF AMERICA AND OUR BELOVED CORPS. ACROSS THE RIVER IN CAMDEN THEY HAVE THE BATTLESHIP NEW JERSEY, IT IS NOW OPENED AS A MUSEUM.

SIXGUNS, WHEN ARE YOU ACTUALLY GOING TO RETIRE NEXT MAY, GUESS FREEBIRD, ELLIE, SPRINGDAWN AND MYSELF WILL BE THE ONLY ONES THERE.

    Sempers,

    Roger

There should also be a termination date

We should also keep the voting open for so long. Then the votes need to be tallied and planning needs to begin in order to have this thing come off well. I recommend October 31st. That gives nearly six months to lock in a hotel, events and sponsor support for a reunion. Just an idea.

Exclamation Put Roger down for East Coast!!!

Roger, I am not sure on the exact date. I am waiting for approval of my retirement application (can you believe you have to get permission to retire?) back from HQMC. I am thinking it will be mid-May. Not certain yet. I would love to do it in conjunction with the reunion, but I am willing to go wherever the majority feels is the best location. Heck, depending on the date of the reunion, I may be on terminal leave.

Isn't Smedley Butler buried somewhere near Philadelphia too?
