Somewhere in the South Pacific-undated
from letter:
I have lost a few pounds. I try to live clean over here while I can. I also try to be happy, the guys crack a few jokes, and we listen to each other's stories, but our morale gets very low at times. I have learned to appreciate things I had at home that I didn't think about having before, I think of them now. I haven't heard your favorite song, "Sunday, Monday or Always."

You know Ray, we get older and some of the things in the past are worth remembering...
You mention Music,,,,,a Very Small local AM radio station (5 watts ) (WJIB )daytime, out of cambridge , mass ,,,, broadcasts the best of tunes that were recorded between 1930 and probibly 2000.
It's a releaf to listen to something that isnt in a car next to me, with its windows and licenseplate rattling ...
Your generation had a lot of good tunes, thanks for passing them on.
