Oh, NO. PB is right. Mr Harold Camping, from Oakland, made the prediction, that Jesus would arrive on May 21,
and the World would end as we know it on Oct. 21, 2011.
I think Jesus probably showed up, and saw what a sh!t hole the World has turned into, and is keeping his piehole shut. He's been waiting for today as well.

The Mayans were a fascinating culture. They built observatories so they could study astrology and their calendars were more accurate than ours are today. They were master mathmaticians building temples equaling those of the ancient Egyptians without the benefit of any metal stronger than gold or use of beasts of burden. Historians still don't know where they went or why they disappeared. There are decendants of the Mayans living in the Yucatan area of Mexico and northern Guatemala. I was fortunate to visit the temples at Tikal when I was a Marine Security Guard in Guatemala City, Guatemala. At that time, some archeology students from Penn State University were there digging for artifacts.
