    42 years

42 years ago today I put my feet on the Yellow Footprints that started a different phase of my life.I wouldn't change a thing, but then again maybe one and that would be to have stayed longer in my Marine Corps. It changed my life for the better as I was headed on the train for nowhere fast until mmy feet hit those footprints.Semper Fi

I could forget the date I got married. I could forget birthdays. But I never will forget Dec. 5, 1967. It changed a lot of us in a lot of ways. S/F BROTHER.

    Mornin' all......

Well....it was 46 years for me on 9/1.
I'll never forget the first meal at the chow hall at MCRD/SD being a silver tray of a weird looking stack of cold cuts that I refer to as some sort of narly loaf which I could hardly choke down during that frightful first day.
Hard to believe it's been so long.

    Carry on....
