Blues Blouse Sizing

After a day of asking around the command and googling, I haven't been able to get any solid answers on this.

I'm just now in the market to get my Dress Blue uniforms together, and the closest PX that sells them is Quantico. I'm wondering if there's some type of conversion chart somewhere that will show me what my blues blouse size should be (roundabout) in relation to my Alpha blouse size? Alpha size is a 38R. Could probably go to a 39 safely and tailor down.

Not very many Marines in my command to compare with.

Good question. Hopefully someone can answer this because I was wondering the same thing.

Yes, generally if you do a 39, for example, you should be able to tailor them downwards. ALWAYS better to go one up...than one down.

Just put it on and button it up. If you can pull the coat about an inch or two from your chest thats a good start. Tailor will do the rest. Thats if you can get to the px to try them on.
